Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 8-9 hrs)
Your journey begins in Haridwar, where you will meet our representative. Start your drive towards Barkot, enjoying the scenic landscapes of Uttarakhand’s mountains along the way. Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel and relax for the evening. Dinner will be served, and you’ll enjoy an overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive, 12 km trek)
After an early breakfast, drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti, from where you will begin your 6 km trek to the Yamunotri Temple. Along the trek, you can take a dip in the hot Surya Kund before seeking blessings at the Yamunotri shrine. After darshan, trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay. Meals include breakfast and dinner.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Uttarkashi. On the way, stop at Shivgufa for a brief visit. Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check into your hotel and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a prominent place of worship in the region. The rest of the day is free for leisure and exploration. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km / 8 hrs)
Start early in the morning and drive to Gangotri. En route, you’ll visit the hot springs at Gangnani, where you can take a holy dip. On reaching Gangotri, perform rituals and offer prayers at the temple. You may also take a dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River. After darshan and a peaceful time in the surroundings, drive back to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Haridwar (167 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Haridwar. You’ll be dropped off at the Haridwar Railway Station, marking the end of a memorable pilgrimage. Meals: Breakfast.
