Travel Bookings: Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through Ghumouttarakhand.com, including Fixed Departure Tours, Customized Packages, Char Dham Yatra Packages, Hotel Bookings, and Helicopter Tours. By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

All transactions, including billing and invoicing, will be managed by Shri Laxmi Tour and Travels, a travel agency duly registered with the Uttarakhand Tourism Department.

These terms and conditions are an integral part of the booking process. By completing a booking through our platform, you agree to comply with the guidelines, policies, and procedures outlined herein.

Payment Terms for Booking Confirmation

  • Full payment must be made at least 7 days prior to the Check-In Date or the Start of the Tour to confirm the booking.

  • Payments can be made via NEFT Transfer, Bank Deposits, or Cheque Deposit to:

      Ensure to include your booking reference number in the payment details.

General Tour/Travel Package Terms and Conditions

  • Rates are valid for Indian Nationals Only. Tariffs for Foreign Nationals/NRIs are available on request.
  • Please carefully review all email communications, as they will form part of your contract with us upon booking confirmation.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 1:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late arrivals may result in reservations being released by 6:00 PM unless informed in advance.
  • Room allocation and hotel selection are subject to availability. In case of non-availability, alternative accommodation of a similar category will be provided.
  • Activities mentioned in the itinerary are subject to group size, climatic conditions, and accessibility. Refunds will not be provided for unutilized activities.
  • All travelers must carry valid photo identification. Acceptable IDs include Passport & Visa, Voter ID card, or Driver’s License.
  • Hotel policies regarding extra beds/mattresses and AC/Heater charges vary. Please confirm preferences in advance.
  • Vehicle arrangements are on a disposal basis from the pre-advised meeting point.

Driver Policies:

  • Drivers will not operate in no-entry zones or unsafe routes.
  • Standard driver working hours are 10 hours/day. Additional hours must be pre-arranged.
  • The company is not liable for any loss, accident, injury, or delay caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters, road closures, or political unrest.
  • GST will be charged extra as per government regulations.

Trekking Package Terms and Conditions

  • All trekkers must carry their personal belongings and are responsible for their items during the trek.
  • Trek itineraries are subject to weather and safety considerations. Safety is our priority, and changes to the itinerary may occur without prior notice.
  • Participants must disclose any medical conditions before booking.
  • No refunds will be provided for unused services or uncompleted treks due to weather or personal reasons.
  • Personal behavior that endangers the group or disrupts the trek may result in termination without a refund.

Helicopter Package/Ticket Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Helicopter capacity: Maximum 6 passengers or 450 kgs total weight.
  • Baggage Allowance: 5 kgs/person.
  • Timing and routes may be subject to last-minute changes due to operational or weather conditions.
  • Any additional expenses for overnight stays due to delays must be borne by passengers.
  • In case of cancellation by the operator, a 100% refund will be provided.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For Tour Packages (except Helicopter Tours):

  • 30+ days prior to start date: 90% refund.
  • 15-30 days prior: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days: No refund.
  • No refunds for no-shows, roadblocks, or unused services.
  • Payment gateway fees (2.9%) and GST (5%) are non-refundable.

For Helicopter Tours:

  • 30+ days prior to start date: 70% refund.
  • 15-30 days prior: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days: No refund.

Cancellation Procedure:

  • Submit written requests via email to srilaxmitourandtravels@gmail.com.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days via NEFT to the original payment source. No cash refunds.

Force Majeure Clause

No refunds or compensations will be made in situations beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political unrest or strikes
  • Weather conditions or road closures
  • Technical or operational issues with vehicles or helicopters

Liability Disclaimer

  • Sri Laxmi Tour and Travels is not responsible for any accident, injury, theft, or loss during the tour.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, India.
