📑 Travel Bookings: Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through Ghumouttarakhand.com, including Fixed Departure Tours, Customized Packages, Char Dham Yatra Packages, Hotel Bookings, and Helicopter Tours. By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Payment Terms for Booking Confirmation

Full payment must be made at least 7 days prior to the Check-In Date or Start of the Tour.

Payments can be made via NEFT Transfer, Bank Deposits, or Cheque Deposit:

General Tour/Travel Package Terms

• Rates valid for Indian Nationals only (Tariffs for Foreign Nationals/NRIs on request).
• Email confirmations form part of the contract.
• Hotel check-in: 1:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM.
• Room allocation subject to availability; alternatives may be provided.
• Activities subject to group size, climate, and accessibility (no refunds for unutilized services).
• Valid ID required: Passport, Visa, Voter ID, or Driver’s License.
• Hotel AC/Heater and extra beds vary by policy.
• Vehicles on disposal basis from pre-advised meeting point.
• Driver Policy:
  • No driving in no-entry/unsafe zones.
  • Standard driver hours: 10 hrs/day (extra hours must be pre-arranged).
• We are not liable for delays or losses caused by disasters, closures, or unrest.
• GST will be charged extra as per law.

Trekking Package Terms

• Trekkers must carry and be responsible for personal belongings.
• Itineraries subject to weather and safety; changes may occur without notice.
• Medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.
• No refunds for unused services or incomplete treks.
• Unsafe behavior may lead to termination without refund.

Helicopter Package Terms

• Capacity: Max 6 passengers or 450 kgs total weight.
• Baggage: 5 kg per person.
• Schedules may change due to weather/operations.
• Extra expenses due to delays borne by passengers.
• If operator cancels, 100% refund is provided.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Tour Packages (except Helicopter):

• 30+ days: 90% refund
• 15–30 days: 50% refund
• <15 days: No refund
• No refund for no-shows, roadblocks, or unused services
• Payment gateway fee (2.9%) and GST (5%) are non-refundable

For Helicopter Tours:

• 30+ days: 70% refund
• 15–30 days: 50% refund
• <15 days: No refund

Cancellation Procedure: Email written requests to srilaxmitourandtravels@gmail.com. Refunds processed within 7 business days via NEFT. No cash refunds.

Force Majeure Clause

No refunds/compensations for situations beyond our control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Political unrest or strikes
• Weather conditions or road closures
• Technical/operational issues with vehicles or helicopters

Liability Disclaimer

• Sri Laxmi Tour and Travels is not responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, or loss.
• All disputes subject to jurisdiction of Dehradun courts.
