Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Ghat or Ghuni Village

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Ghat or Ghuni Village, the starting point of the Sapt Kund trek. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your trek leader or guide who will brief you about the upcoming journey. Spend the night in the village, preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 2: Ghuni Village – Dhouldhari

On the second day, you will begin your trek from Ghuni Village towards Dhouldhari. This route involves both gradual and steep ascents, taking you through beautiful landscapes and scenic campsites. Upon reaching Dhouldhari, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Chaukhamba and Trishul peaks.

Day 3: Dhouldhari – Patharkuni

Continue your trek as you make your way to Patharkuni. The trail offers a mix of gradual and steep ascents and is flanked by awe-inspiring views of the snow-clad Himalayas. You will camp here for the night amidst the tranquil mountain surroundings.

Day 4: Patharkuni – Simbe Bugyal

Trek to Simbe Bugyal, one of the most picturesque camping sites on this trek. Simbe Bugyal is a stunning alpine meadow filled with a variety of colorful Himalayan flowers. Situated at an elevation of 5,000 meters, Sapt Kund is a collection of seven lakes at the base of the Nanda Ghunti peak. The serene and peaceful atmosphere of the lakes is worth the effort, offering a spiritual and natural retreat. After exploring the lake area, you will return to your campsite at Simbe Bugyal for the night.

Day 6: Simbe Bugyal – Patharkuni

Begin your descent from Simbe Bugyal to Patharkuni. The trek back consists of pleasant walks and descents through the picturesque landscape. Set up camp at Patharkuni for the night.
