🚖 Cab Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern all cab/car rental bookings made through Ghumo Uttarakhand (operating under website Ghumouttarakhand.com), owned by Shri Laxmi Tour and Travels (Registered with Uttarakhand Tourism Department, Certificate No. UTTR/DEHRADUN/08-2024/006707, GST No. 05AGTPN4062A1ZJ). By proceeding with a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Cab Services Terms & Conditions

• AC Usage: AC will not function in hill areas or when the vehicle is stopped/parked.
• Driver and Vehicle Guidelines:
  • Drivers will not enter no-entry zones or narrow roads that may cause congestion.
  • Driving on certain hill roads after sunset or playing music may be restricted.
  • In case of roadblocks, snowfall, or unsafe conditions, the vehicle will not proceed further. Extra arrangements will be passenger’s responsibility.
• Pick-Up and Drop: A single pick-up and drop point is provided unless agreed in writing before booking.
• Parking Fees: One-time parking charges per day are included. Extra parking charges borne by passenger.
• Tour Itinerary: Fare valid only for mentioned destinations. Route changes may incur additional costs.
• Operational Hours: Vehicle available from 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Use beyond this will incur extra charges.
• Safety and Behavior:
  • Drivers may refuse unsafe/unlawful requests, such as overspeeding.
  • Passengers must treat drivers with respect. Abusive behavior may terminate service without refund.
• Unforeseen Circumstances: We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, breakdowns, or accidents.

Payment Terms

• Advance Payment: Required to confirm booking as per email communication.
• Balance Payment: Must be paid to driver at pick-up unless stated otherwise.
• Online Payment: May take 24–36 hours to reflect. Services confirmed only after receipt.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation Charges:
  • 10% of booking amount if canceled 48+ hours before pick-up.
  • Within 48 hours: one day’s rental charges deducted.
• Refund Process: Processed within 10–15 business days via NEFT transfer. No cash refunds.
• Refund Requests: Must be emailed in writing to srilaxmitourandtravels@gmail.com. Refunds not processed without written request.

Breakdown Policy

• Vehicle Maintenance: Vehicles serviced regularly.
  • Minor issues repaired on spot.
  • Major issues: alternate vehicle arranged ASAP.
• Unavoidable Delays: We are not responsible for delays from breakdowns, flight delays, or hotel cancellations beyond our control.

Important Notes

• Sightseeing must follow planned route; revisits/off-route trips cost extra.
• Alternate transport may be required in restricted/no-entry areas at passenger’s cost.
• Extended stays due to road closures, weather, or disasters will incur extra charges.
