Cabs Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern all cab/car rental bookings made through Ghumo Uttarakhand , operating under website Ghumouttarakhand.com, owned and operated by Shri Laxmi Tour and Travels (Registered with Uttarakhand Tourism Department, Certificate No. UTTR/DEHRADUN/08-2024/006707, GST No. 05AGTPN4062A1ZJ). By proceeding with a cab booking, you agree to these terms and conditions:

Cab Services Terms & Conditions:

AC Usage:
Air Conditioning (AC) will not function in hill areas or when the vehicle is stopped/parked.

Driver and Vehicle Guidelines:
Drivers will not enter no-entry zones or narrow roads that may cause traffic congestion.
Driving on certain hill roads after sunset or playing music may be restricted due to safety concerns. Please cooperate.
In case of roadblocks, snowfall, or other conditions, the vehicle will not proceed further. Additional arrangements will be at the passenger’s expense.

Pick-Up and Drop:
A single pick-up and drop point will be provided unless multiple points are agreed upon in writing before the booking.

Parking Fees:
Parking charges will be covered for one visit per day per location. Additional parking charges will be borne by the passenger.

Tour Itinerary:
The total fare is valid for the destinations mentioned in the itinerary. Changes to routes or destinations may incur additional costs.

Operational Hours:
Vehicle service is available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Usage outside these hours will incur additional charges.

Safety and Driver Behavior:
Drivers have the right to refuse unsafe or unlawful requests, including driving beyond safe speed limits.
Passengers are expected to treat drivers with respect. Any abusive or threatening behavior may result in immediate termination of the service without a refund.

Unforeseen Circumstances:
We are not liable for delays caused by roadblocks, traffic jams, technical issues, weather, accidents, or other uncontrollable situations.

Payment Terms

Advance Payment:
An advance payment is required to confirm the booking as per the agreed email communication.
The balance amount must be paid to the driver at the time of pick-up unless otherwise stated.

Online Payment:
Online payments may take 24-36 hours to reflect in our account. Services cannot be confirmed until the payment is received.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Charges
10% of the booking amount will be deducted as cancellation charges if canceled 48 hours before the pick-up time.
For cancellations made within 48 hours of pick-up, one day’s rental charges will be deducted.

Refund Process:
Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days through NEFT transfer to the customer’s bank account
No cash refunds will be issued.

Refund Requests:
Cancellation and refund requests must be sent in writing via email to srilaxmitourandtravels@gmail.com. Refunds will not be processed without a written request.

Breakdown Policy

Vehicle Maintenance:
- Our vehicles are regularly serviced to ensure reliability. However, in case of a breakdown:
  - For minor issues, repairs will be done on the spot.
  - For major issues, we will arrange an alternative vehicle as soon as possible.
Unavoidable Delays:
- We are not responsible for delays caused by vehicle breakdowns, flight delays, or hotel cancellations beyond our control.

Important Notes

Sightseeing locations must be covered together in the planned route. Revisits or off-route sightseeing will incur extra charges.
Passengers may need to arrange alternate transportation (at their own expense) in areas where large vehicles are not permitted or during road restrictions.
Any additional costs arising from extended stays due to natural disasters, road closures, or other uncontrollable circumstances will be charged extra.
